Oktoberfest
Tempe, Arizona

Whiskey’s Quicker has been the opening act at the past several Oktoberfests held each fall in Tempe, Arizona. And this year was no different as the local rock cover band took the stage in fine fashion once again. The crowd would never know that this band only plays limited dates each year from the sound sound they produce.

Whiskey’s Quicker got the crowd into party mode with great versions of Night Ranger’s “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”; Foo Fighter’s “My Hero”; Van Halen’s “Ain’t Talkin’ Bout Love”; and The Doobie Brothers “Long Train Runnin” to name a few.

The band consists of Dan Bickley (rhythm guitar), Joe Palma-Alirez (lead guitar), Gary Hake (Bass), Roger Belfiore (lead vocals) and Gary Sanchez (drums). Dan Bickley is also half of Bickley & Marotta who can be heard weekdays at 10 a.m. on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station

Keep an eye out for Whiskey’s Quicker doing the occasional show in and around the Phoenix area and at Circus Mexicus each summer. Take a look at all 98 photos from this show HERE!
